Welcome to Lansdowne Friends School

We engage students in a challenging educational program guided by Quaker values.

Lansdowne Friends School is a Pre-K through 6th grade Independent School.

We have a powerful and challenging academic program that is thematic and project-based: Literacy, Math, Science and Social Studies are intertwined in the educational process thus creating integrated, real-life experiences for our students.

Our education philosophy is grounded in Quaker values and we employ the principles of the Responsive Classroom Approach.

The LFS community consists of families from all walks of life and we are proud of our diverse staff and student body.

We believe in education for life.

LFS offers Spanish, Shop, Physical Education, Art, Music and Library.  We have strong cross-country and track teams. Fifth and sixth graders are award winners of the First Lego League Robotics competition.

We offer a rich After School program and an exciting Summer Camp.

Lansdowne Friends School is closer than you think!
